According to the Syrian military Israel has targeted a research facility near Damascus. Damascus official word is that their air defense system did not down several of the missiles that were in coming and also provided video footage of those knock downs.

The US has confirmed that their coalition forces did in fact target a group of pr-Syrian fighters near the Syrian Jordanian border close to Iraq. Israeli News Live had covered this before that the US and British forces were operating in this area and may have plans to target Damascus.

Russia Prepares for Us Strike on Syria

The Russian military moves into a high state of alert as the US considers its response to the Sarin gas attack that was allegedly carried out by the Syrian military. Evidence proved that in 2013 that Syria was not responsible for the gas attack and evidence has surfaced already that seems to once again point to Syrian Rebels gassing their own people.

Israel won't be alone in challenging Russia's decision to deploy the S-300 to Syria, now the US steps up its own rhetoric regarding the deployment as an "Escalation of tensions". It amazes me that US officials and even Israeli officials do not believe in a countries right to self defense. That clearly is totalitarian thinking.
Iran claims that the missiles fired at ISIS in Syria was a message to US forces stationed near by, I am sure that will certainly be taken as a threat and added to the already growing excuses by the US to attack Iran.
